We believe that social development goals can only be realized with strong global partnerships and cooperation. The official development budget allocated by the Tanzania government each year has not been adequate. While humanitarian crises brought on by conflict or natural disasters continue to demand more financial resources and aid. Tanzania requires Official Development Assistance to encourage economical growth, protection of its natural resources, and improvement of the livelihood of its citizens. To reach this goal Tanzania needs cooperation with other countries and development partners. Improving access to technology and knowledge is an important way to share ideas and foster innovation in Tanzania. Coordinating policies to help Tanzania manage its debt, as well as promoting investment for the least developed segment of communities, is vital for sustainable growth and development. The goals aim to enhance North-South and South-South cooperation by supporting national plans to achieve set targets for quality education, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Promoting economic cooperation, and helping Tanzania increase its production and exports are all part of achieving a universal rules-based and equitable trading system that is fair and open and benefits all.
Savannah Vision Tanzania (SVTa) aspires to lead in the provision of quality education, community livelihood empowerment, management, and restoration of the terrestrial ecosystem in Tanzania at the intersection of education livelihood, and environment. SVTa collaborates with local communities to conserve the natural resources we all depend on and build a future in which people and nature thrive. Together with partners at all levels, SVTa transforms markets and policies toward sustainability and tackles the threats driving poverty and environmental degradation.
